India Trip-Start

Hello everyone! Today I am working on my travel trip review! Oh!!! I better finish it earlier before I miss any details:)

This picture is the route of my trip in India. Details as below:

Whole trip covering 9319 km / 5790 miles

1. Fly to Kochi, Kerala from Kuala Lumpur airport. It takes 4hrs.
2. Fly to Mumbai from kochi airport. It takes 2hrs.
3. Take night sleeeping bus with A/C to Udaipur from Mumbai. It takes 16hrs.
4. Take night sleeping bus without A/C to Jodphur from Udaipur. It takes 8hrs.
5. Take night bus with A/C to Jaipur from Jodphur. It takes 6hrs.
6. Take night bus with A/C to Agra from Jaipur. It takes 6hrs.
7. Take morning train in tourist class with A/C to New Delhi from Agra. It takes 4hrs.
8. Fly back to Kuala Lumpur from New Delhi. It takes 4hrs.

How I prepare the ticket? Yes, it's a good question. Here is how I do:

1. I planned the place I wanna go and find the easiest & most popular way to go the destination.
2.  I will decide go by air, bus or train. of cause have to think about the budget also!
3.  I will book it by MAKEMYTRIP which is the No.1 travel website in India, to search my flight and bus. Actually you can find almost everything you need for your trip in India on that website. It's really very helpful!
4. Go to the bus station directly to buy the ticket! Usually it's the fastest and cheapest way to get your ticket! You can make sure you can get your ticket for your plan.
5. Find local agent to help booking ticket. It's usually my last choice as they can't be sure can help you to get the ticket as you want and also have to pay the commission.
P.S. Many traveller mentioned it's hard to book bus / train ticket by the railway website or other official website. Right! I tried many times and the status was WAITING or UNAVAILABLE, but when you go to the train or bus station directly, You can get the ticket. So I don't believe in those "OFFICIAL" website. They are not efficient and user-friendly, it's stupid!
And please don't worry too much that you can't get the ticket if you don't book it in advance. Don't worry! Be happy! There is always a way! It's not that hard to get ticket actually, go to station directly or find a local agent and ask the staffs at your hotel / hostel, they probably can help you. In India, nothing is impossible!! What you really need to do is, enjoy yourself during your trip!
I will update the detail of India trip later. Please be patient.

Have a good day!

Singapore

Night view of Marina Bay

LV @ Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands & The Lotus Museum

There are lounge & restaurant located @ the top 57th floor where you can enjoy the whole view. There are two ways to go to the top. 1. like every tourist, go to the ticket office and buy ticket SCG$20. 2. It's what i did, go to KUDETA Lounge(or restaurant but have to make reservation first)  and you still have to spend minimum SCG$20/each for food or drink, but this way you can enjoy the perfect view with service, food and drink. It's genius! haha! After telling you this way, who are gonna buy the tourist ticket?!

KUDETA Lounge is located right next to the Infinity pool which is famous as letting you swim in the clouds, so while you are enjoying Marina Bay view, you can check those hot guys and girls chilling in the pool.

The three hotel towers are crowned by the Sands SkyPark on the 57th storey, which offers a 360-degree view of Singapore’s skyline.  There’s no greater feeling like standing at the top of the world.

At a height of 165m, Singapore Flyer is the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel. It captures Marina Bay’s skyline with a glimpse of neighbouring Malaysia and Indonesia.

The Fullerton Hotel with a dynamic central Singapore hotel location in the heart of the financial and arts districts, the hotel successfully blends rich heritage with it's contemporary style.

Linking Marina Bay to Marina Centre, the Helix Bridge, is set to become Singapore’s next landmark. Located beside the Benjamin Sheares Bridge, alongside the vehicular Bayfront Bridge.

Along the Marina Bay, there are so many people exercising no matter day or night. Actually I think it's a nice place to work out as the view is super nice. This group of people are exercising together (sorry for picture is kinda blurry).  You can feel this city is full of energy!

Clarke Quay, Singapore’s choice dining and entertainment destination, is a colourful kaleidoscope of buildings housing antiques, restaurants, hip cafes, jazz clubs and more. At night, the entire zone is a sight to behold with all five blocks of restored warehouses lit up and beamed with an array of quirky alternative to mainstream clubs. With an international presence in terms of partying options, this is a convergence point for people around the world to celebrate. I highly recommend to have a drink with your friends there!!

who loves beer?

The Merlion is representative of Singapore's humble beginning as a fishing village and a

national icon that MUST visit in Singapore.

The lion head represents the lion spotted by Prince Sang Nila Utama when he re-

discovered Singapura in 11AD, as recorded in the 'Malay Annals", and the fish tail of the

Merlion symbolises the ancient city of Temasek (meaning "sea" in Javanese) by which

Singapore was known before the Prince named it "Singapura" (meaning "lion city" in

Sanskrit).

Resorts World Sentosa, Singapore's Integrated Resort (IR), is a casino resort offering attractions, hotels, spa, casino and meetings & incentive venues.

It's always good to enjoy ice cream under the hot sun, as you know Singapore is always in good weather :)

If you like visiting theme park, please don't miss this Universal Studio Singapore @ Sentosa. You always can have so much fun.

Beach @ Sentosa. What a good idea to enjoy some sun tan and water sports for weekends? Forgot to bring my swim suit, no bikini pictures!

Garden by the bay.
You've visited gardens and parks before, but have you ever stepped into a superpark spanning over 100 hectares, featuring more than 1/3 of a million rare plants in huge domed conservatories-and located in the heart of the city?
Less than a 5-min walk away from Marina Bay, the entire park comprises 3 gardens: Bay South, Bay East and Bay central.
The Flower Dome replicates the cool-dry climate of Mediterranean and semi-arid subtropical regions like South Africa and parts of Europe like Spain and Italy.

 Many plants is from Africa.

The Cloud Forest replicates a cool-moist climate found in Tropical Montane regions between 1,000 to 3,500 metres above sea level, such as Mt Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia, and high elevation areas in South America.

You can take elevator to level 6 and than walk to level 7, from the highest level 7 start walking down to the bottom. There is some SKY BRIDGE (i name it, haha!) which you can see through the bottom, if you wanna feel walk in the sky, go ahead and enjoy it!

By the SKY BRIDGE, you can see how wonderful this artificial waterfall is!!

Standard Admission (includes entry to Flower Dome & The Cloud Forest), Adult $28(Tourist) / $20(Resident)

It's the night whole view of The Garden of Bay. There are so many artificial giant trees. Can you tell how amazing it is?

The Port of Singapore with Sentosa island in the background. Singapore is a major international transport hub in Asia. It is also the world's second-busiest, behind Shanghai, in terms of shipping tonnage handled. I don't mean to talk about economic, but after you see their port, you won't wonder why Singapore is such a developed country in the world with its good economy.

Taxi charge start from SCG$3, and there is GPS service to make sure you will be your destination on track. The fares are relatively cheap compared to many other developed countries.

Hello everyone! I miss you guys lots!!!! Long time didn't update this blog, yes, yes, yes, I know!!!! I was busy traveling, the internet service was not stable enough for me to update the blog and also...I have so much wanna share!! Don't know where to start first.

So today, I am BACK! The first thing to share is--Singapore!! Singapore is such a nice place, I am in LOVE with this country.

Some information about Singapore: it has a land area of around 710 square kilometers, little bit smaller than New York City, but there are slightly over 5M people, of which 2.91M were born locally. The majority of population is highly diverse as Chinese 74.2%, Malays 13.4%, Indians 9.2% and others 3.2%. These make Singapore became one of the most cosmopolitan cities in Asia, known for it's multi-faceted society, giving it a vibrant and diverse cultural heritage.

This time my trip to Singapore was 3days only . I took a night bus from Malaysia (it took 10hrs!!!! 2hrs in traffic!!!), arrived Singapore @ 8am, spent one whole day there, the next day I took a night bus back to Malaysia (it took 7hrs). There are lots of direct flight between Singapore & Malaysia, and the fee is not expensive. This way can save much time!! I just want to experience this way but don't think will take it again:) Actually it's not enough at all to experience Singapore as this place has so much to be explored, but I didn't have enough time, so....I will be back again for sure!!

Luckily I have some local friends there, I had super great time there by their hospitality host. They showed me the best of Singapore: local culture&heritage,  nature beauty, nightlife, theme park, casino, amazing architecture, shopping & enjoy super yummy food...more & more...

Before visiting Singapore, all I heard about was, small country, nothing to do, boring, strict law & government, people there just like those in movie "Matrix", everyone's life is same pattern, they all doing same thing to make their life more completed, people are controlled by the government...so I didn't expect much for my trip this time. Haha!!

As a city, Singapore really is a country opens my eyesight. This country is very well organized, clean, safe, efficiency, people are so friendly and well educated...They have everything!!!!! There is a modern garden with variety rare plants, artificial waterfall, beach, surrounded by the ocean, well advanced mass public transportation, casinos, lots of shopping area, lots of good food, variety culture, international transport hub, developed financial system... everything you can mention, you can find it in Singapore.

After this trip, my idea of Singapore is totally transformed into a very good image. I am in love with this country!

Please don't miss this beautiful country, otherwise, you will miss something in your life!

All attached pictures are part of my trip. Please enjoy!

Have a good day!
